I've done work with VN groups before and am currently doing so. While am not a ren'py expert, I can certainly lend a hand with doing anything else; code or web-side.

For the forums, you should probably just scrap proboards and go with phpbb, it's much less shit without a lot of effort being put in.
Dunno if you're bothered enough to switch boards though.
