Some sketches of MC. Sorry it's done on notebook paper, I did these during class. I'll probably do the same for his girlfriend(who will be posted tomorrow). You guys want any changes? I take it there was never anything drastically unique about his appearance. Edit: Quick possible color reference.

great design, that neck is a tad off to me, stubble just shouts "can't give a fuck about hygiene right now", honestly he may be too alpha for /a/, but we'll see. good work.

It's concept art, the details matter more than the proportions. The coat begs the question "What is the weather like?" What season is it? What's the climate in X City?
Stubble's fine since he won't worry about shaving too much, too many zombies. No complaints from me really.

The coat begs the question "What is the weather like? Begs the question - when a proposition which requires proof is assumed without proof. Sorry, just saying.

railgun, /a/ does like some manly characters too I think, like Guts and Iskander (fate/zero).
I really like your design, arasato, for some reason make think of Rance... probably because him was my mental picture of the MC... just not as pervert and without pointy teeth haha
nice work, can't wait to see a more polished version of this

Much better than my attempt haha. Sadly I cannot into anime style art. It's amazing how much different an anime figure is than the real human figure. Even the head-scale is off, normally it's 8 and the anime figures seem to be around 6~7, which throws me off and what I've learned on my own. Hopefully I can improve with this project though. Digression aside, I like the stubble, it was something I thought about putting in and then forgot to. The eyes seem perfect, and I like the general idea of the outfit. Seems very Shaun-of-the-Dead-esque. Could serve as an interesting allusion. I'm pretty sure that he made a cameo in HoTD.

I really like it. Perhaps he could begin clean-shaven and stubble would grow over time?
Then again, since he's the MC he'd only be showing up CG's for the most part, and so it won't be a huge issue.

Also what's with this project and participating during school hours? The majority of /a/ is in college I'd assume. Probably a good few underageb&s in high school as well; some probable are 18 and in high school though.

Not everybody's in the US, after all. This is true, and I was dumb to overlook it, but the majority of our group is in the US, there was a timezone check and it most are EST.
